Game Baroque

This is the result of mixing my three favorite music styles: Metal, baroque and videogame music. The two last ones are not that rare, considering the great legacy of our favorite composer: Michiru Yamane and its works for Castlevania.

Game Baroque is a multicovering of two songs from her. The first one is more famous, Wood Carving Partita, from the best game in the saga, Symphony of the Night, the game with which the saga assumed the open-world structure that not only was followed for the following 2D games of the saga, but also changed the game subgenre to “MetroidVania”. The second one, Prayer for a Tragic Queen, is much older, from a previous generation. For me, it’s one of the most brilliant videogame’s tunes ever done.
